Though a native of Australia, Urban is one of America’s biggest country stars, with nine studio albums and 16 number-one hits on the Billboard country charts and three Grammy Awards. On his current Raise ‘Em Up tour, Urban revisits his hits and songs from the most recent album, FUSE, but brings to the stage some new material with his signature energy and outstanding showmanship.
Urban’s fame extends beyond the concert stage. Famously married to Nicole Kidman since 2006, he was one of the vocal coaches on the Australian version of reality competition show “The Voice,” and one season later took over Steven Tyler’s position as a judge on the hit show American Idol, which he will reprise next season.
For this tour, Urban is teaming up with fellow country stars Jerrod Niemann and Brett Edredge. Niemann is a hitmaker himself, with number-one hits “Lover, Lover” and “Drink to That All Night.” Eldredge also hit the top spot with “Don’t Ya.”
