The Matadero Creek

From its source in the Los Altos Hills to the mouth of Southwestern San Francisco Bay where it empties out, Matadero Creek, also known as "Crosby's Creek," is one of the area's most cherished natural features in the Palo Alto area- and it runs through the Creekside Inn! Local fauna congregate around the creek, and the Palo Alto Matadero Creek trail provides a link between neighborhoods as well as a fitness hub for the community.
