2013 Rose Bowl Football Game The “granddaddy” of college football games, the legendary Rose Bowl excites fans at Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena on New Year’s Day 2013. The 99th Rose Bowl will feature an exciting match-up between the top college football teams in the country. The Stanford Cardinals of the Pac-12 Conference will face the Wisconsin Badgers of the Big Ten Conference at the 2013 Rose Bowl – the most thrilling college football game in the world.

The home team of Palo Alto locals, the Stanford Cardinal will ignite the field and challenge their 2000 Rose Bowl rivals as 90,000 fans cheer and experience this monumental bowl game. The Rose Bowl Parade, America's New Year Celebration, with magnificent floats created from roses and colorful flowers, marching bands and a lively crowd lining the streets of downtown Pasadena. Kicked off in 1902, the Rose Bowl has showcased 17 Heisman Trophy Winners, produced 29 national champions, featured 195 All-Americans and inducted 104 college football legends into the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame. The game is sure to be aired at a variety of locations in Palo Alto, including Cibo, the on-site restaurant and bar at the Creekside Inn as well as other local bars like the Old Pro, a favorite of Palo Alto locals and Stanford students.
