Big Wow Comic FestDo you live for classic cartoons, comic books, and creative art outlets like anime and manga? If you answered yes to any or all of these, you belong with like-minded hobbyists and gaming enthusiasts at the Big Wow! ComicFest at the San Jose Convention Center. Taking place during the weekend of May 17th and 18th, you’ll have so much to see as attendees arrive donned in costumes of their favorite characters, artists showcase their works in unique displays, and pop culture dominates the event space with features including the Famous Monsters Film Fest. Come out to have a great time and tap into your imaginative side, as you enjoy a who’s-who lineup of well-known entertainers, comedians, and popular performers.
If you’re a true fan, you’ll enjoy entertainment guests including John-Paul Balmet, Steve Gordon, Thang Le, Max Lim, Miss Misery, Will Nichols, Chris Voy, and Amy Beth Christenson Smith, to name only a few. The Programs and Panels schedule will be packed with Artist Demonstrations, Cosplay Instruction, Creator Interviews and Presentations, and other interactive events. The show will also have a Kid’s Corner for the little ones, a Superman Museum Show and Live Art. The Artist’s Alley has been shaping up with a long list of names, including Katie Shaw, Ed Lloyd, Megan Barrow, Gas Gretsky, and Michael C. Hayes. Rounding out this year’s convention, the show includes a full Game Schedule so guests can play, pretend and get lost in the fun of the fiction.
