Spring is in the air, and that means the excitement of championship athletics is the name of the game at Stanford University. If baseball’s your game, Stanford Cardinal season is currently in full swing, with a complete schedule of regular season games scheduled at home and away through May 26th. The NCAA Regional and Super Regional games begin May 31st, with the College World Series scheduled to begin June 15th. If you’re pining for the college football season, but just can’t wait until September, you’re in luck! The annual Cardinal & White Spring Game is scheduled for April 13th at Stanford Stadium. The 2012 Rose Bowl champs kick off at 3pm, but be sure to arrive early for tail gaiting and plenty of fun pre-game festivities, like family friendly activities, food, music, and more. And be sure to linger after to score an autograph from your favorite Stanford players. The Cardinal & White Spring Game is free. Women’s sports are also a hot ticket at Stanford, so be sure to check out the championship women’s water polo team games now through April 21st or cheer for the softball team now through May 11th.
