Peter and the Starcatcher at the Lucie Stern Theatre
Who was Peter Pan before Wendy and the gang? What was Neverland like when Peter was a child? What was Peter himself like as a child? These questions get answered over the course of the "sensational and enthralling" prequel, Peter and the Starcatcher.  This production arrives at the Lucie Stern Theatre on December 3rd and stays for exactly one month before it returns back to Neverland.

Starcatcher tells a story filled with whimsy and wildness, a story about a Neverland before we knew of Neverland, and a semi-swashbuckling, wily, and witty boy and a girl he'll never forget.  Rick Elice and Robert Kelle (author and director, respectively) took Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson's book and adapted it to the stage in a very impressive way.  The production has won five TONY awards and promises to let your imagination take flight from the minute the lights dim and the curtains have drawn.  The musical score (thnks to Wayne Barker) is impressive, and the entire family can join in on it! Peter and the Starcatcher reminds us that each and everyone one of us is just a kid at heart.
Tickets for Peter and the Starcatcher, a full list of their cast and crew, as well as other productions from TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, can be found at http://www.theatreworks.org/shows/1415-season/peterandthestarcatcher.  Off we go!
