Head over to the Museum of American Heritage (MOAH), and you’ll get a firsthand glimpse of more than 50 rare vintage vehicles. The little ones will be delighted by the displays, including hands-on science demonstrations, Meccano models, and other family-friendly activities. The feature exhibit at the museum will be “Time Machines: Clocks and Time Keeping,” showcasing how an everyday object works in somewhat extraordinary ways.
The MOAH preserves and exhibits electrical and mechanical inventions and technology, the doodads and gadgets that sprang up between 1750 and 1950. With a large collection of artifacts and five rooms of ever-evolving exhibits, the facility is chockfull of fascinating facts and unexpected treasures. For the Vintage Vehicles display, museum-goers will get the chance to see the advancement of auto technology and how cars were crafted many decades ago. With free admission, you can come explore the exhibits between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2014.
